         Introduction              

This work is an improvement on the walker, equipped with wheels to achieve labor-saving effects. It is normally in a braked state but can be moved 360 degrees. After installing the seat board, it can provide rest and toilet functions. It enhances the convenience and safety for individuals with mobility difficulties. 

 

           Motivation

Motivation for creating this product is to provide easy assistance for elderly people during walking or rehabilitation. Additionally, it can serve as a seat. Even when bedridden, it helps with tasks like eating, using the restroom, bathing, and moving around.

Design concept

Before this product was invented, although there were some products that could achieve similar effects, there were still many areas that needed improvement. We have combined the functions of a walker and a wheelchair to create this innovative mobility aid. It can be used as a wheelchair when needed, effectively alleviating fatigue or meeting special needs by switching from walker to wheelchair functionality. This not only helps users save space when traveling with luggage but also facilitates easier use for the users.

Advantages

These are our product's advantages:

1. As a walking aid, it can also function as a wheelchair.

2. As a wheelchair, we’ve added a toilet function on top, which can help users solve their needs in the simplest way when necessary.

3. The handle above has brakes. It can reduce the risk of sliding downhill when walking on slopes and also help users better control their direction on flat ground.

4. The horizontal design in front allows for hooks to be attached, making it more convenient for users to carry their belongings when traveling.

5. As a wheelchair, it can be used independently. Even when sitting on it, it can be easily moved. The brakes on top can help users stop when needed.
